• WHAT’S THIS SITE ABOUT?

I have been a boxing fan ever since I was 13 years of age and joined a local amateur boxing gym that was based in my home country of Scotland. But, it was only until I started watching modern great Oscar De La Hoya, in my early teens(in order to pick up tips to develop my own boxing skills), that I started to look at pugilism with an increasing depth that led me to developing a deeper appreciation for the sport and generating a personal interest in not only the fighters themselves, their strategies, tactics and styles per-se, but also the sport's culture and history in general. Although I never quite made a career from the sport in a way I would have liked to have, by transitioning successfully from the amateurs to the pro-game, I have still remained a fan and as enthusiastic about the sport as I was back then.
